How to write academic essay

 How to write semantically sound academic essay;

1. opening paragraph  (intro) ;

# Basically, you must introduce your essay with hook sentence which will attract your reader or evaluater.

Example hook; Social media is an excellent opportunity to bridge the gap between human intelligence and missive fast growing world.

# Provide some background information such as;

Definition of your subject. ( Topic)

Provide some history on the subject.

There is no harm in giving some facts to support your background information

# Give strong thesis statement;

(Three points to be discussed in each body paragraph.) It acts as a guideline as you write your essay

Example;   Social media has been designed for prompt connectivity, mental refreshments,and serve as a huge informative bank.

2. Body paragraphs;

# Using PEEL Framework write three body paragraphs

1st / P- Point out the idea that you are going to discuss in that particular paragraph.

            ( Restate the thesis statement in different way.)

2nd / E- Giving Evidence to support your idea.

           Evidence includes;

           Research data such from;  Harvard university, Oxford university, Saying or opinions of  Philosopher, Economist, etc...

3rd/ E- Giving Example. 

        #Examples that is happening in our society or in your family or in someone's  family, etc.

4th/ L- Link must be maintained either;

        # Connect last sentence with the opening statement of that paragraph 

         # Connect last sentence with the opening statement of next paragraph.

Or link can also act as concluding point. It is to remind your reader, what you are talking about in that particular paragraph.

Using this pattern write all three paragraphs.

3. Conclusion; 

Conclusion must have all the idea that are in the body paragraphs.

Must have: 

Summary.

Restate everything in different language.

Never talk about new ideas.
